Land covers a third of planet Earth and water and ice covers the rest. we divide the earth into seven main chunks called continents. The sea is divided into five majors areas called ocean.
INSIDE THE EARTH!
The inside Earth is made of hot, molten rockthaty slowly swirls about lke thick teracle. We live on a thhin , solid crust , about like the crust of a pie.
SEVEN CONTINENTS!
NORTH AMERICA , SOUTH AMERICA, EUROPE, ASIA, AFRICA, AUSTRALIA, and Antartica are Earth's continents. Sometimes people call Europe and Asia one continent(Eurasia).
MAPS AND ATLASES!
A map is a drawing of the ground that shows where towns, rivers , and other important features lie . An atlas is a book of maps.
Peeling the Earth!
Earth is a ball shaped , so a globe is the best kind of mmap to show the whole planet. On a flat map , some areas streched or squashed.
